Anchor Section

The Anchor Section is for boys in school years 1-3.
We meet every Wednesday from 6:00pm-7:00pm during term time.

The 1st Woodley Anchor Boys Section is the youngest section of BB and boys are welcome to join during the school term in which they turn five and they usually stay until the age of eight, which is when they can move up to the Junior Section. It is currently run by Aaron Pritchard.

Anchor Boys is lively and fun with time spent each week on a variety of activities. A typical evening usually involves games (running, football, bat & ball games, team games, obstacle races), crafts (painting, making things, collage, papier-mache), and stories. The evening generally concludes with a prayer. On special occasions we have enjoyed camp fires, cooking, art & crafts, treasure hunts, and crate climbing.

Through attending and participating in these activities, the boys can gain activity badges each year. Boys are also generally expected to wear uniform. This consists of a blue polo shirt and red sweatshirt which are worn with school trousers and shoes.
