The Senior Section is the uppermost in the Boys' Brigade. It is here that young people will start to really get their teeth in to leadership, whilst still enjoying a fun and varied programme. The night runs no differently for Seniors when compared to Company Section; however Seniors may stay later for table tennis or similar activities.
The Challenge Plus Programme is a very engaging programme, full of lots of exciting - and a little bit different - activities. In recent years we have gargled the tunes of national anthems, relaxed with a game of monopoly, and just appreciated each others music choices. In each year of participation, young people are able to earn Challenge Plus badges, which come in bronze, silver and gold to display how much has been achieved throughout the year.
As the monarch is the Patron of the Boys' Brigade, the highest acheivable award is the Queen's Badge. It is able to earn this over a year, more usually two, with volunteering in the community, residential trips and expanding your skill set all vital - and enjoyable - parts of the experience.
Alongside their Queens's Badge, our young people are offered the chance to partake in the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme.
As part of the Duke of Edinburgh award each young person is required to:

During the last half term of the school year we move into our summer programme which includes multiple offsite activities chosen by the boys themselves. These usually include but are not limited to:
The Senior Section is identical to that of the Company section in all but one regard - Seniors have a different tie.
